Entreprendre pour apprendre

The association

ENTREPRENDRE POUR APPRENDRE

Entreprendre Pour Apprendre ("Learn By Undertaking") is a federation of fifteen non-profit associations (created under the French law of 1901) whose purpose is to foster entrepreneurial spirit amongst young people from 8 to 25 years old, principally within schools, and help enhance their employability. Their actions assist career choices and help to give young people control over their future in society and the workplace.

Thanks to the participation of business professionals and teaching staff, young people can thereby develop entrepreneurial skills : perseverance, creativity, a sense of responsibility, trial and error, risk taking, self confidence, team spirit, etc.

THE PROGRAM SUPPORTED BY THE KEYRUS FOUNDATION

Mini Entreprise-EPA ("EPA Mini-Company")

Entreprendre Pour Apprendre develops various programs based on the principle of an active "learn by doing" teaching approach. The Keyrus Foundation supports the "Mini Entreprise-EPA" ("EPA Mini-Company") program, which allows a team of middle-school pupils, assisted by a teacher and a mentoring entrepreneur, to set up its own, "life-size" company. This scheme assists career choices, as it enables the pupils to discover the reality of life in a company, try their hand at executive tasks, see what it is to manage projects, convert ideas into reality, meet objectives, be creative…
