Bibliothèques sans Frontières
Bibliothèques Sans Frontières
Since it was set up in 2007, Bibliothèques Sans Frontières ("Libraries Without Borders") has been one of the world's major NGOs promoting development through culture and knowledge.
More than just a mere collection of books, the library's impact now cuts right across society, from the fight against insecurity and social inequalities, through the stimulation of business-creation energies and entrepreneurship, to the development of people's skills.
THE PROGRAM SUPPORTED BY THE KEYRUS FOUNDATION
Voyageurs du Numérique ("Digital Travellers")
Faced with the growing digitalization of society, in 2014 the Bibliothèques Sans Frontières association initiated the "Voyageurs du Code" ("Code Travellers") project, which the Keyrus Foundation decided to support. This project's goal is to make as many people as possible more aware of, and train them in, computer programming and the implications of the digital culture.
This program is intended for everyone, regardless of gender or age, and the tuition is based on collaborative and fun teaching techniques, allowing each individual to find things out and learn.
AND YOU, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TO JOIN THE KEYRUS FOUNDATION?
