Action contre la faim
Created in 1979, Action Contre la Faim is an international NGO tackling hunger around the world. It aims to save lives by preventing, identifying and treating malnutrition, particularly in emergency situations resulting from conflict and natural disasters.
Today, the charity is a major contributor to the fight against hunger around the world. An international network, the organisation leads a coordinated response in over 50 countries.
PROGRAM SUPPORTED BY THE KEYRUS FOUNDATION
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE AGAINST HUNGER, 12 October – 6 November
Since 2007, the charity has run the Challenge Contre la Faim (Challenge Against Hunger). This is a charity sporting event for companies.
However, the unprecedented health crisis has forced Action Contre la Faim to launch a virtual edition of the event, in which Keyrus’s employees took part.
Employees took on various, individual sporting challenges in the name of humanitarianism, covering 11438km collectively!
Over the course of this challenge, employees also learnt about how Action Contre la Faim works to provide food aid to populations, so that they have access to adequate food during and after crisis situations.
