The association
Les Tréteaux Blancs : SHARING A MOMENT OF JOY BETWEEN CHILDREN
A charitable body set up in 1990, Les Tréteaux Blancs is a theatre school, a troupe, but also a school of life that promotes openness to the world, and it brings children together to perform for other children who find themselves in hospital.
Les Tréteaux Blancs offer children in hospital a brief aside of magic and fantasy, thanks to some thirty adolescents who apply their time and talent for the good of hospitalized children.
The shows are followed by a moment of interaction with the actors, during which the young spectators are able to discover the characters and their costumes close up.
The Keyrus Foundation supports this collective human endeavour, which brings laughter and joy to sick children.

I wanted to get involved in the development of this association because it was the first initiative of its kind that managed to get children lastingly involved for the good of other children who were unwell.
Two of my own children, aged 8 and 11, joined in with the endeavour. They are learning singing, dancing, acting, stage management, set and costume design, and makeup. They are enjoying an experience that is humanly very rewarding.
The entire team at Les Tréteaux Blancs thanks the Keyrus Foundation wholeheartedly for its support, which will help us to continue developing the association. We have numerous projects : touring around the country, setting up in other major cities in France…
